Delivery & returns

Free samples: 2–3 working days, sent by post.

Stocked flooring and accessories: typically 3–5 working days on a kerbside pallet or parcel service.

Made-to-order and cut-to-length carpet or vinyl: usually 7–10 working days, confirmed at checkout.

Samples are free. Delivery on everything else is calculated at checkout by weight and postcode. Highlands, islands and some offshore postcodes carry a surcharge, which is always shown before you pay.

Pallet deliveries are kerbside. The driver cannot carry flooring indoors or upstairs, so please have someone available to help move it.

Check the packaging before you sign. If anything looks damaged, note it on the delivery paperwork and tell us within 48 hours.

Let wood and laminate acclimatise flat in the room for 48 hours before fitting.

Inspect every plank, tile or metre before it goes down. Once flooring is fitted it is considered accepted, and we cannot cover installation costs for a fault that was visible beforehand.

You can cancel an online order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Returned items must be unopened, unfitted and in a resaleable condition. Return carriage is at your cost unless the item is faulty or wrongly supplied.

Cut-to-length carpet, vinyl and other bespoke or made-to-measure items cannot be returned unless faulty.

To start a return, email hello@onlyfloors.co.uk with your order number. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods.

If something is faulty, tell us as soon as you spot it. We will repair, replace or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
